... is, to be strictly correct (again), the title of a series of novels. The title of the first novel in the series is A Game of Thrones.

There are currently five novels in the series, with at least two more on the way.

The third novel in the series, A Storm of Swords, was published in two volumes. It runs to a total of 1123 pages in paperback, plus appendices.
